Banana Bread With Walnuts

Banana bread is a simple and delicious recipe that my kids find delicious. Today I baked it and the result was amazing.

Ingredients:

  • 3 bananas, medium size
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 8 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/3 sour cream
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • Nonstick spray, according to the need

Method:

Heat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a loaf pan with non-stick spray. In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Ensure that the bananas are full mashed. Set aside.

In another bowl, add melted butter, sour cream, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Whisk very well together. Now whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Combine the flour mixture to the banana mixture and stir to combine by using a silicone spatula (or wooden spoon). Then carefully add and mix in the walnuts, and then pour the batter into it. Mix well, then transfer into the loaf pan and place into the oven. Bake the bread 50 – 60 minutes.  Insert a toothpick into the center. Make sure that the toothpick will comes out clean.

Let the bread to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
