About Shaziah Zuberi

Shaziah Zuberi completed an MBA earning a gold medal in finance. She worked in advertising focusing on consumer research & media planning. She has pursued a range of passions and interests. She was a fashion designer and ran a boutique for women’s apparel in Islamabad, Pakistan. She is an avid blogger on contemporary subjects and has contributed to publications such as The Express Tribute and Dawn Images. She has also contributed to a book on Pakistani cuisine authored by Shanaz Ramzi titled Food Prints.

Since moving to the US, Shaziah has promoted innovative Pakistani-themed fusion cooking. She has authored a book titled A Taste of Pakistan in Fusion, which has been accepted by the Library of Congress and by Montgomery County Public Library. She was featured at the Lahore Literary Festival (LLF) in 2023, where she highlighted her journey as an author. The book has won the Gourmand Awards 2023 in the Best Asian Cuisines category. Shaziah is the founder of “DC Chapter Bridge,” an initiative celebrating talented voices in the realms of art & literature. She has also been featured by the American Pakistan Foundation in the “Rising Stars 2023” list. She was also honored for her work at the “Rise and Shine Women’s Leadership Forum” on International Women’s Day 2025 which was hosted by the American Asian Chamber of Commerce (AACC).

At present, she is working on her second book, which is about her evolution as a Pakistani woman, embracing seasonal ingredients and contributing to American food culture.
