I love preparing garlicky baby bok choy as it pairs very well with meat, fish, or rice. Today I savor it with homemade kimchi rice.
Ingredients:
- 6 bunches baby bok choy
- 4-5 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- 4-5 Thai red chili, cut into half
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Method:
In a small bowl, add soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and oyster sauce. Whisk together to make a sauce. Set aside.
Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. When the oil is shimmering, add garlic. Fry until fragrant. Then add bok choy and gently stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add prepared sauce and chili, cover, then cook for 2 minutes until bok choy has softened. Transfer in a platter and serve.
